CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Edgewater – 11 km north of Radium with approximately 10-15 km of groomed trails with incredible views of the Columbia Valley.

Beckie Scott Nordic Centre – located at Panorama Mountain Village 18 km from Invermere. Offers 28 km of Nordic trails groomed for classic and skate skiing. Call (250) 342-6941.
Lake Windermere Whiteway – in 2014 the Whiteway won the world record for the longest skating trail boasting over 30 km of ice-skating as well as groomed skate and classic ski trails.
Nipika Touring Mountain Resort – approximately a 45-minute drive from Radium. Take hwy 93 through Kootenay National Park for 21 km and turn on to Settlers Road. Take Settlers Road for 13 km and follow the signs. There is a warming hut 2 km from the start of the trail. They also have a skating pond and tobogganing. Call (250) 342-6516.
